Limestone Bluff

$60.00

Now you can readily model these blocky, textured limestone cliffs readily!  Measuring 24 inches by 10 inches, our Limestone Bluff  is a big chunk of cliff, ready to install wherever you need it on your layout.  It’s also pretty deep, with about 3 inches of relief, so it’s great for creating a sense of depth in your scenery. Need to curve the outcrop?  No problem!  Even though this casting has a lot of relief, it doesn’t pucker when you bend it. Simply do all the bending along the two vertical low spots, and you can make any shape you need.

If you’re working in N scale, you may think you don’t need quite this much vertical cliff—after all Limestone Bluff measures 130 feet high at 1:160. But cut it lengthwise and you can make an outcrop half as high, but twice as long. Use the extra length to model both sides of a deep cut, or a longer expanse of bluff along your backdrop. Let your imagination be your guide.

If you change the color a bit, you can use Limestone Bluff to model practically any rock type that forms prominent blocks.
